Owens student nurses seeking toys for patients

FINDLAY — The Student Nursing Association at Owens Community College’s Findlay campus is holding its fifth annual Toy Drive for children staying in local hospitals.

Donated toys will be accepted from today through Dec. 14 at the Nursing Lab or in the Commons area of Owens’ Findlay campus.

More than 290 toys have been donated in the last four years.

The Student Nursing Association will wrap donated toys and give them to children in Blanchard Valley Regional Medical Center in Findlay, Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green, Mercy Hospital of Tiffin, Lima Memorial Hospital, Fremont Memorial Hospital, and Fostoria Community Hospital.
