Jenni Laidman
Jenni Laidman came to The Blade as a science writer in 1998 from the Bay City (Mich.) Times. Her work was published in Best Newspaper Writing 2000, and her science writing was recognized by the American Association for the Advacement of Science in 1997. In 1995-96, she was awarded a Knight Science Journalism Fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Jetta Fraser
Jetta Fraser has been a photographer at The Blade for three years. The New York native previously worked at the Florida Times-Union and the Detroit News. She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and the recipient of numerous photography awards.
