Average cost for regular gas in Ohio drops near $2

COLUMBUS — The average gas price in Ohio has dropped closer to $2 as the year comes to an end.

The state average was $2.03 for a gallon of regular gas in today’s survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and WEX Inc. That’s 16 cents less than last week and $1.38 per gallon cheaper than a year ago.
