The Regional Growth Partnership, a private economic development group in northwest Ohio, said Monday it has hired a talent-acquisition manager to work with companies to help find workers with the type of skills that are needed.
Carolyn Rodenhauser holds the position, having previously worked as workforce development administrator for Hancock County. Her role will be to help on a larger scale, an agency spokesman said. For example, she would help a firm looking for 100 information-technology workers, but not a company trying to hire three skilled trades workers. Her role could involve hiring a headhunter or seeking help from local colleges.
The new position is funded by JobsOhio, the state’s private economic development agency that has a talent acquisition program. Similar posts have been created at other JobsOhio Network partners.
