HomeGoods, a home decor retailer owned by TJX Cos., will open its second Toledo-area store on Aug. 20 at 8 a.m. in the Spring Meadows Shopping Center at 1420 Spring Meadows Dr. in Springfield Township.

The retailer, which has a Sylvania Township location at 5243 Monroe St., is expected to create 65 full-time and part-time jobs for the new 26,124-square-foot store. It plans to have special 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. hours for the day it opens.
