THE DIRTY DOZEN ARE BACK

THE DIRTY DOZEN ARE BACK

Mayor Carty Finkbeiner announces the revival of his Dirty Dozen list. The worst-maintained buildings, in his estimation, are 2640 Monroe St.; 2035 Dorr St.; 2119 Dorr St.; 715 Spencer St.; 1515 West Bancroft St.; 1958 Front St.; 1437 West Central Ave.; Orchard Street near Edwin Drive; 1801 Smead Ave.; 437 13th St.; 402 Fassett St., and one large building with two separate addresses: 1341 West Delaware Ave. and 2429 Lexington Ave. City officials said all building owners have been notified by mail that their property contains numerous code violations that present an immediate risk to the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Toledo. The notices may be followed by criminal nuisance complaints carrying a potential sentence of 60 days in jail or a $500 fine, or an injunction complaint requiring correction of all code violations.
