'THE PRESIDENT'S OWN' BAND PLAYS ON

Col. Michael J. Colburn, director of 'The President's Own' U.S. Marine Band, presents the band to the audience before its performance last night at the Stranahan Theater. The band, which was established by an act of Congress in 1798, is America's oldest professional musical organization.

Master Sgt. Amy Horn, a Fremont native, accepts applause for the performance with other members of the band. Sergeant Horn says she is a 21-year member of the band.
