One person is being treated for minor injuries after a rear cargo car detached from a tractor-trailer and struck two other vehicles about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday on Airport Highway at Albon in Springfield Township, authorities said.

The name of the person injured was not immediately available. The person was transported to St. Luke's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Lucas County EMS said.

The tractor-trailer was eastbound on Airport approaching Albon when the trailer detached from its hitch, Lucas County Sheriff's dispatchers said.
