The Toledo Walleye and Komen for the Cure of Northwest Ohio have teamed up in the fight against breast cancer. Friday, March 5 will be the first annual Pink in the Rink night. The Walleye take on Trenton at 7pm. The ice was painted ink with a water based paint made for ice, then clear water was sprayed over it to seal it. The pink layer of ice will be removed right after the game Friday night.

The Toledo Walleye will wear pink jerseys against the Trenton Devils tonight and the jerseys will be auctioned after the game, with proceeds going to Komen for the Cure of Northwest Ohio.
