Toledoan Al Price comes home after trotting globe

Toledoan Al Price, the oldest living member of the Harlem Globetrotters, signs autographs for Joey Mehalic, 9, and Del Harris before the game at the Huntington Center in downtown Toledo. The Globe- trotters have been mixing their own brand of basketball with comedy since the Roaring 20s.


Al Price receives honors from head coach Barry Hardy during the Harlem Globetrotters game last night at Huntington Center. Mr. Price is the oldest living member of the team that has been entertaining for 84 years. Legends such as Wilt Chamberlain have played on the team whose members are known as the Ambassadors of Goodwill.
