Mike Wilcox has joined the board of directors for USA Football, the sport's national governing body in the United States.
"USA Football is a growing organization that is dedicated to helping kids, and I am intrigued by the opportunity to be part of that," Wilcox said. "Being a former student-athlete and playing competitive football through high school, I enjoy helping young athletes get the opportunities to learn and improve. USA Football typifies that."
Wilcox is chairman and chief executive officer of Wilcox Financial and Wilcox Sports Management, diversified financial services and consulting companies in Toledo. He is a past chairman of the Bowling Green State University board of trustees and currently serves as a trustee of the American Football Coaches Foundation, the Toledo Symphony Orchestra, the Culver Educational Foundation, and the Lou Holtz/Ohio Valley Hall of Fame.
A graduate of BG, Wilcox played college hockey and was a three-time All-American on BG's nationally ranked lacrosse team. He has been inducted into numerous halls of fame.
