Dale Price, a mathematics teacher at Toledo Technology Academy High School in West Toledo, has been elected vice chairman of the State Teachers Retirement Board.

He is to assume duties Sept. 1. He has worked in education for more than 30 years and is an active member of the Ohio Federation of Teachers. His four-year term on board ends in 2014.
