Falling snow has forced several counties to declare snow emergencies.
Erie, Fulton, Huron, Lucas, Putnam, Sandusky and Seneca counties are all currently under a Level 1.
A Level 1 means roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may also be icy. Motorists are urged to drive very cautiously.
Bowling Green, Northwood and Wauseon also declared snow emergencies, which means cars cannot be parked on any designated snow streets.
Overnight snowfall began in the final hour of February, 2015, with 0.3 inch of snow falling at Toledo Express Airport giving the city a total of 25.3 inches for the month, just enough to break the 25.2-inch record set in 2011.
