A small private plane slid off a runway after landing today at Toledo Express Airport, but no injuries were reported and damage was minimal, the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority reported.
The Piper Cherokee was landing on the airport's main runway when it slid off the tarmac and hit a sign, said Holly Kemler, a port authority spokesman.
The pilot was not injured and no passengers were aboard the aircraft. The Ohio Highway Patrol said it received the call about 12:35 p.m.
