Power outages have affected nearly 1,700 Perrysburg residents today as a result of inclement weather.

Roughly 5,400 Toledo Edison customers in total have been affected, according to First Energy Corp spokesman Jennifer Young. Perrysburg is the largest concentration of outages.

Crews have been dispatched to affected areas and are assessing any required repairs as a result of fallen tree limbs and high winds, according to Ms. Young. It is not yet clear when power will be restored.

"If you have an outage, don't assume that someone else has reported it," Ms. Young said.
