A group of Bedford High School alumni is planning a 50th anniversary celebration of the “new” Bedford High School.

Members will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the high school Media Center, at Jackman and Dean Roads.

Evelyn Powers, class of 1966, was in the first graduating class and is chair of the celebration committee.

Classes from 1966 to 2015 are asked to participate. The committee plans to honor members of the old high school from 1947 to 1965. Alumni are urged to attend to obtain more information or to help plan.
