The northbound ramp from northbound I-75 to the I-475 split in was closed until late Wednesday after a tractor-trailer rig hit the concrete barrier and caught fire about 8 a.m., authorities said. The truck fire spread to the pavement, causing damage that will require repaving part of the interstate, said Theresa Pollick, spokesman for the Ohio Department of Transportation. Perrysburg fire crews battled the blaze through the morning. No injuries were reported. The ramp was closed so crews could clean up the spill and take care of damage to the barrier wall and pavement, Ms. Pollick said.
