A fire of a yet unknown origin destroyed a vacant house in North Toledo, authorities said.
There were no injuries in the Wednesday fire, according to the Toledo fire department.
Fire crews arrived about 1 a.m. and found heavy fire at the house at 3025 Chase St. near New York Avenue. They attacked the flames and brought the fire under control in about 30 minutes, by which time the house was a total loss, a fire dispatcher said.

The single-story house was razed later in the day.
Toledo fire Lt. Matthew Hertzfeld said the cause of the fire was under investigation. Damage from the fire was estimated at $11,500, he said.
