Springfield High School School Winter Guard Easter Seal fund-raiser, Springfield High School Stadium west parking lot, 1470 S. McCord Rd., 5-7 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The Springfield High School Winter Guard is partnering with Easter Seals to both assist its mission and raise funds. Winter Guard members are collecting items for Easter Seals. The organization will accept anything made of cloth or leather/​pleather regardless of condition such as used clothing, shoes, purses, bed lines, and towels. Items that can’t be used for resale through Easter Seals local partners will be re-purposed into carpet padding/​insulation or sent overseas to help clothe those in need.
