Central city house damaged in fire

A fire of an unknown origin damaged a house in the central city Tuesday.

All occupants escaped unhurt, according to the city fire department. The fire at 911 Lincoln Ave. was reported at 7:14 a.m., a dispatcher said. Firefighters brought the blaze under control in 30 minutes.

Lucas County records list F&H Syph as the owners of the 1 ½-story, wood frame house, which was built in 1912.
