Two people were injured in a head-on crash in central Toledo, authorities said.

The Lucas County EMS took the victims in the Tuesday crash to ProMedica Toledo Hospital, an EMS dispatcher said. Their names and conditions were not released.

The accident occurred about 7:20 a.m. at Monroe and West Bancroft streets, a Toledo police dispatcher said. It involved a sport utility vehicle and a motorcycle, according to police radio traffic.

The incident closed the intersection except for right turns. Traffic in the intersection returned to normal about 11 a.m., a dispatcher said.
