METAMORA, Ohio — Crews are out searching this afternoon in hopes of finding a 20-year-old woman whose bike was located near a cornfield on a Fulton County road.
Sierah Joughin was last seen at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday riding a purple bicycle in the Evergreen School District area, according to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department. The bike was found later on County Road T. There were signs of disturbance in the area, as the corn appeared trampled, Sheriff Roy Miller said.
The sheriff said they are using state and federal resources, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, to search for Miss Joughin. Dogs are being brought in to search the cornfield more thoroughly, he said. She had been heading home from her boyfriend’s home at the time.
Ms. Joughin is white, about 5 feet and 5 inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing shorts and a neon-yellow tank top.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 419-335-4010, ext. 8.
