A North Toledo home was razed Friday after it caught fire.

No one was injured when the one-story home at 818 Stickney Ave. caught fire. Witnesses reported hearing a loud boom before the fire grew.

Toledo Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the scene at 5:14 a.m.

According to Pvt. Sterling Rahe, damages were estimated to be $10,000. Due to the property’s structural instability and fire damages, the building was razed early this morning with the approval of the Division of Building Inspection.
