One man was found dead in a house fire early Sunday morning in West Toledo, according to Toledo Fire and Rescue Department

Firefighters were called at 12:01 a.m. to a home in the 4600 block of Burnham Avenue, with the caller stating people were possibly still inside. Crews arrived in five minutes to the one-story residence.

While fighting the fire, crews found a man dead in a bedroom. No others were injured, reports indicate.

The man’s identity and cause of the fire have not been released. A cause of death and positive identification will be made by the Lucas County Coroner’s Office after an autopsy.

Firefighters reported no working smoke alarms in the home.
