Toledo crews battle Old West End house fire, save 2 other homes

An investigation is under way into an Old West End house fire on Friday night when Toledo crews facing frigid conditions were able to save adjacent homes.

No injuries were reported from the fire in the 2400 block of Lawrence Avenue, the Toledo Fire & Rescue Department said in an update via social media late Friday.

"Crews worked for several hours to extinguish the fire and were able to save the two neighboring homes," the department said.
