Crash in Fulton County injures man

LYONS, Ohio -- A Lyons, Ohio, man suffered serious injuries Sunday night when his sport utility vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer rig on State Rt. 120 near Fulton County Road 8, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

The injured driver, Cory Robertson, 24, was westbound on Route 120 in a 2002 Chevy Blazer when he drove off the right side of the road, overcorrected to the left, and struck an oncoming truck driven by Jacob Holland, 26, of Metamora, Ohio.

The accident was reported at 6:39 p.m. in Royalton Township.

Troopers said Mr. Robertson was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from his vehicle.

He was flown to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, where he was listed in critical condition shortly before midnight.

Mr. Holland was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
