BGSU hockey ices Alabama-Huntsville 6-2

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Bowling Green State University ice hockey team got a pair of goals from Lukas Craggs and scored three times in the third period Saturday of a 6-2 victory against Alabama Huntsville in Western Collegiate Hockey Association play at the Von Braun Center.

Max Johnson also had a goal and three assists for the Falcons (9-3-2, 4-2-1 WCHA), ranked No. 12 in this week’s USCHO.com Division I poll. Adam Smith, Cameron Wright, and Sam Craggs also had a goal for Bowling Green, which has won three consecutive games.

Christian Rajic finished with a goal and an assist for UAH (1-12-0, 1-6-0). Ben Allen had the other goal for the Chargers.

Ryan Bednard tallied 26 saves for the Falcons to improve to 9-2-1. Mark Sinclair stopped 24 shots for UAH.
