BG's Justin Turner sustains injury at tournament

BOWLING GREEN — Justin Turner sustained a hamstring injury in Bowling Green’s 91-84 overtime victory on Sunday at the Paradise Jam tournament in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Falcons’ leading scorer had 10 points in 20 minutes of playing time, but was forced to leave the game and did not return, as BG rallied to send the game to overtime and then won.

According to Bowling Green, there is no timetable for Turner’s return. He will be further evaluated when the Falcons return home Tuesday.
