BOWLING GREEN — Dylan Frye formally has rejoined the Bowling Green men’s basketball team.
The senior guard, who suddenly left the team before Bowling Green’s Feb. 8 game against Toledo for what the program said were “personal reasons,” is once again on the roster for the Falcons.
Bowling Green, which announced Frye’s departure with a two-sentence statement about an hour before tipping off against UT, issued a release at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, saying Frye is back with the team.

“Head Coach Michael Huger has announced that senior guard Dylan Frye has returned to the Bowling Green men's basketball team,” the statement read. “Dylan will be dressed and available Saturday for the Falcons game against Ohio at the Stroh Center.”
Huger left the door open for Frye’s return when speaking to the media after the Toledo game, saying “We’ll see” when asked if Frye could return.
The senior from Miami missed three games — the Falcons went 2-1 without him — but is once against practicing with BG.
Frye set the Bowling Green record for 3-pointers in a career on Jan. 31 at Buffalo, and started more than 100 games during his tenure at BGSU.
