Former University of Toledo women's basketball player Tanaya Beacham has landed at Ohio State as a graduate transfer, the Buckeyes announced Tuesday morning.
Beacham, who played two seasons at Rogers High School, will have one year of eligibility left at Ohio State during the 2020-21 season.

"Extremely excited to add Tanaya to the Buckeye family," Ohio State coach Kevin McGuff said in a release. "Her talent, athleticism, and experience will be a great addition to the program."
Last season at Toledo, Beacham served as a team captain and averaged 10.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while leading the the team with a 58.3 percent mark from the field.
Beacham graduated from Toledo with a degree in criminal justice.
She joins an Ohio State team that went 21-12 last season and lost in the Big Ten tournament championship game as the No. 6 seed. The Buckeyes, who are projected to be an NCAA tournament team this coming season, will return four starters.
Beacham began her high school career at Youngstown Ursuline, before transferring to Rogers for her junior and senior seasons. She helped the Rams reach the Division II championship game in 2015.
