Senior Steven Wright has left the Bowling Green State University men s basketball program.

Wright, from Dayton, was averaging 11.4 points, second-most on the team, in nine starts. A statement released by the school said his departure was agreed to mutually by Wright and BGSU coach Dan Dakich.

The Falcons are 9-17 and have lost seven of their last eight games.
