An officer of the Australian army takes delivery of the fi rst fi ve of 59 M1A1 tanks to be refurbished for his country at a ceremony at the General Dynamics Land Systems plant in Lima, Ohio. The order on which the delivery was made yesterday is $70 million worth of work for the factory which primarily handles tank and other military vehicle work for the U.S. Army.
