On Friday, 108 graduates of Mercy College of Ohio were awarded bachelor’s degrees, associate degrees, or credit certificate in nursing and allied health fields.

The ceremony was held at Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral, 2535 Collingwood Blvd. Sister Nancy Merkle, a member of Mercy College’s Board of Trustees and a Sister of Mercy for 54 years was named commencement speaker.

It marked the first fall commencement for the college, which has previously held one graduation per year in May.
