"I thought this was a great opportunity," Olwin said. "They have athletes. They just need direction."

His last position was at Versailles (2008-11, 23-19 record).

Olwin said he believes his wide receivers and quarterback should thrive in his spread attack.

Rettig completed 84 of 151 passes for 1,519 yards and 17 TDs last season. He also plays at safety on defense.

Swartz led the league in receiving with 32 catches for 845 yards (26.4 average).

"Our strength will be team speed," Olwin said. "Depth will be a weakness."

He said his players have a good attitude and have worked hard.

"We need to stay healthy and keep learning in the offense and defense," Olwin said.

He said key will be the development of the offensive line.
