Outlook: Drusback, who guided the Bulldogs to the first playoff win in school history last season, said this year's team has good leadership and a sound work ethic. Rossford had been 0-8 in its previous trips to the playoffs.

Perry, Schimming, and Jackson all earned All-NBC second team honors. They are among 18 seniors on the team and 38 on the varsity.

Perry had 18 catches for 360 yards and three touchdowns. Orr had seven receptions for 152 yards and two TDs. Orr also led the team in interceptions with three. Sinclair had eight catches for 173 yards and three TDs.

Jackson led the team in pass break ups, while Sauter led the team in tackles.

But Drusback cited overall inexperience at some positions as a possible trouble area.

“I am excited about our quality leadership and strong work ethic. Those two traits will need to be a constant in order for us to build upon last season’s success,” Drusback said.
