A central city woman accidentally shot herself early Wednesday, according to Toledo police.

Mareen Martin, age not reported, of the 900 block of Shirley Avenue, shot herself in the foot at her residence. The incident was reported at approximately 6:40 a.m. Wednesday.

Ms. Martin was treated at the scene, and she said she would follow-up at Mercy Health St. Anne Hospital, according to a police report.  

Her condition is unknown.
