A Toledo woman has been charged with endangering children following an assault on her daughter.

Jennifer Bruce, 27, of the 1100 block of South Byrne Road appeared Tuesday in Toledo Municipal Court. A judge set bond at $50,000.

Toledo police investigated a July 28 offense in the 2200 block of Kent Street. Ms. Bruce’s daughter told police Ms. Bruce struck her with a belt, punched and choked her, and bit her left thigh. Police said the girl suffered numerous bruises.
