The Mid-American Conference named University of Toledo center Nathan Boothe as part of its all-MAC first team today.
Boothe leads the MAC with an average of 19.4 points, and ranks third with 9.4 rebounds. This season, Boothe has scored 602 points, the sixth-best scoring output in school history in a single year with at least one more game to play.
Rockets guard Jonathan Williams (17.8 points) landed on the all-MAC third team.
Bowling Green State University guard Spencer Parker (14.3 points, 5.3 rebounds) earned an honorable mention.
Neither UT nor BG had a player named to the all-freshman or all-defensive teams.
Both teams open the MAC tournament tonight. Bowling Green plays at Kent State and Toledo goes to Eastern Michigan in first-round games.
