Once again, by popular demand, the Great Pierogi and Polish Favorites Drive Up will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Jan. 24. Club 16, 316 S. King Rd., Holland, will be the pick-up site, with pre-ordering required by 9 p.m. on Jan. 21.
As with the previous drive-through Polish food fests held in recent months, you can enjoy one-stop contactless shopping and order from multiple vendors at fs4.formsite.com/quint1971/wgiombwjqq/index.html. Participants include Czapski's Kitchen and Catering, Dutch Maiden Farm Bakery, Gourmand Sausage Company, J and I Concessions, Old World Gluten Free, the Pierogi Lady, Pierogi Palace of Cleveland, Polish Pride of Michigan, Srodek's Campau Quality Sausage Co., and Tata's Pierogi from Chicago.
In addition to frozen pierogi (classic, contemporary, and also dessert fillings, including vegan ones), heat ‘n’ eat options include City Chicken, goulash, pork, or brisket dinners; golabki (stuffed cabbage); soups (Hunter’s Stew, borscht, dill pickle soup, and mushroom); potato pancakes; smoked or fresh kielbasa, and much more. Sweets include crusciki (angel wings) and kolaczki.
■ Dining for Dogs
Every dog has its day. And from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Golden Retriever Rescue Resource, Inc., will be the beneficiary of generosity at Bob Evans Restaurant, 6215 W. Central Ave.
Present a flyer (available at gr-rescue.org/pdf%20files/Bob_Evans_Flyer.pdf) to the specified location only and 15 percent of your check will be donated to the organization which rehabilitates and re-homes goldens and golden mixes in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. Dine in or carry out are both eligible for participation.

■ American Legion fish fry
American Legion Post 325, 451 High St., Blissfield, Mich., is hosting a fish fry on Jan. 29 starting at 5 p.m. and continuing until sold out. The cost is $10 per dinner and includes fried Alaskan pollack filets, french fries, cole slaw, a roll, and condiments.
Service is drive-up only (enter at the main driveway); orders will be brought to customers’ cars.

■ Made for More contest
Small business owners: Do you use Ball home canning products in your work? And have you helped to support our community during the pandemic? If so, you could win as much as $10,000 in the Ball Made for More contest.
A total of $110,000 will be awarded to 20 finalists, who can use the funds to support their enterprises: $10,000 each to the top 10 finishers, and $1,000 each to the remaining businesses.
Entries will initially be reviewed and selected by a panel of judges based on these criteria: positive contribution the entrant has made to the community (50 percent), essay quality (25 percent), and clarity of expression (25 percent). The public will then have an opportunity to vote for their favorite candidates to determine the top 10 winners from the chosen 20.
United States-based businesses with up to 99 full- or part-time employees are eligible to enter the competition. Entrants must be at least 18 years old, fill out an application, and attach a relevant photo. Submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 31.
