Address: 1519 Eleanor Ave., Toledo
Phone number: 567-316-7493.
What makes your place unique: Bozo’s Bar and Grille is tucked back into a well-established West End neighborhood. We cater to our neighborhood and surrounding areas. It is a warm, welcoming place with great food and great atmosphere.
Origin of name: The name Bozo came from the owner’s late father. His nickname was Bozo. In the ’70s, he opened a bar named Bozo’s on Teadrow Road where the former Rusty’s Jazz Café used to be.
Clientele: We welcome all ages here at Bozo’s. Families come in for dinner, 20s and 30s come in for entertainment and late night, 40s and up come in to relax and have a nice conversation with neighbors.
Type of entertainment featured: We have live music two to three nights a week that feature local acoustic musicians. We like to start our music between 6 and 8 p.m. so people can enjoy live music at an earlier time slot. We feature solos, duos, and trios. Every other Thursday we have an early jazz night from 6 to 8 p.m.
Upcoming events: Tim Oehlers and Jonathan Rutter 6 to 8 p.m. today; Jazz Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 23; King Size Drag from 7 to 10 p.m. Feb. 24.
Website: No website, but check out our Facebook page. It keeps you updated on happenings.
