Lee Brice and Rick Springfield are spending some time this summer at the Toledo Zoo.
Brice is set to perform at the zoo’s amphitheater on June 16. Springfield performs with Men at Work and John Waite on Aug. 26.
Tickets for both concerts go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via Live Nation.
Country superstar Brice counts eight No. 1 songs on the Billboard Country Chart. He’s is best known for his hit “Love Like Crazy,” which holds the world record for the longest run on the country chart.
Tickets are $30.50 through $60.50.
Springfield went from guest starring on Wonder Woman and voicing cartoon characters to selling out arenas all over the world with the release of his 1981 rock classic Working Class Dog. Featuring the smash hit “Jessie’s Girl” and the underrated breakup classic “I’ve Done Everything For You,” this was the album that made Springfield an icon.
He celebrates its 40th anniversary by headlining a night of ‘80s nostalgia in Toledo.
Men at Work are best known for their easy listening albums Business As Usual and Cargo, including hits like “Be Good Johnny,” “Dr. Heckyll & Mr. Jive,” and “Who Can It Be Now?”. Men at Work are led by founding member Colin Hay, who over the years has established himself as a successful solo artist.
John Waite, who also performed at the Stranahan Theater in March, will open the evening of nostalgia. Waite is best known for his 1984 hit “Missing You.”
