Country superstars Luke Bryan and Sam Hunt will perform at Bash on the Bay 8 on Aug.13 and 14 at Put-in-Bay, 614 Events, Inc. announced on Monday.
Bryan will entertain the crowd — which according to the press release draws between 35,000 and 40,000 people to the island over two days — on the first night, a Wednesday. Bryan, a modern country music icon, can be seen this season on ABC’s American Idol.
Hunt will play the following day, a Thursday. He has racked up 10 No. 1 songs since exploding onto the world of country music, with hits like “Body Like a Back Road,” “House Party,” “Break Up in a Small Town,” and “Kinfolks.”
Supporting acts for Bryan include Ashley McBryde and for Hunt, it’s Russell Dickerson and Poison front man Bret Michaels.
The festival will once again take place at the Put-in-Bay Airport, 1494 Langram Rd., on South Bass Island.
