FINDLAY — Whirlpool Corp. said today it plans to make a $40.6 million investment in its dishwasher-manufacturing facility in Findlay that will add 50 new jobs.
The investment will add 86,400 square feet of capacity and material space at the plant, according to Whirlpool, which is based in Benton Harbor, Mich.
The company said strong consumer demand for its products prompted the expansion, which will improve the flow of parts and products throughout the plant.
