ProMedica is closing its Holland urgent care facility and reorganizing its Perrysburg urgent care facility, the company said in a statement Thursday. 

The Holland location is closing because of lower volume and other locations nearby in Sylvania Township and Maumee, the company said. At the Perrysburg location, the company is dispensing with its segmentation into pediatric and adult facilities in favor of just having one facility that sees all patients. 

“ProMedica is working closely with the affected employees through this transition, and we expect that most will be presented with other employment opportunities within our health system,” the statement said of the changes, which are to take effect Jan. 1. 

This leaves five ProMedica urgent care locations in the Toledo area: in Maumee, Oregon, Perrysburg, Sylvania Township, and West Toledo.
