TECUMSEH, Mich. — Small business owners can get free assistance on marketing, banking and other topics during a new learning series called Ask the Experts at the Tecumseh Center for the Arts in Michigan.
“Our local economy thrives when we empower entrepreneurs with the knowledge and resources they need to succeed, said Tecumseh Economic Development Director Kelly Jo Gilmore, “and this series provides a platform for them to learn directly from industry leaders who understand the unique challenges faced by small business owners.”
The eight-session series begins March 25 with marketing as the focus. Held every other Tuesday from 5:30-6:30 p.m., topics include IT/cybersecurity on April 8, legal on April 22, artificial intelligence on May 6, accounting on May 20, banking on June 3, insurance on June 17, and compliance on June 24.
“We’ve pulled together a talented and knowledgeable panel for each event to be able to provide free information to small business owners in our area,” said Sheila Blair, director of Launch Lenawee, an initiative that supports small businesses by hosting educational programs and mentoring entrepreneurs.
The panel discussions and question-and-answer sessions will be held either at the arts center, 400 N. Maumee St. in Tecumseh, or at County National Bank, 209 E. Russell, Tecumseh.
