OAK HARBOR, Ohio — Bechtel Power Co. expects to lay off 155 employees who have been working on a project at the Davis-Besse nuclear power plant because of the anticipated completion of the company's contract with FirstEnergy, which operates the plant.

Bechtel filed a notice this week with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, as required by the Worker Adjustment Retraining Notification Act. The notice indicated that the layoffs will take place between April 1 and April 24.
