Workers construct the shell of a new 6,000-square foot JCB construction equipment dealership in Springfield Township that will be owned by Buck and Knobby Equipment Co. of Ottawa Lake, Mich. The new dealership, at 9127 Airport Hwy., is expected to create seven jobs. Buck and Knobby, at Sterns Road near U.S. 23 Exit 1, moved from Alexis road to its Michigan location in 1975, but it is expanding to suburban Toledo to serve customers in southern Lucas County. Rudolph Libbe is the general contractor in charge of the project.
