BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce and Habitat for Humanity of Wood County will hold a ribbon cutting for the new ReStore, 829 W. Newton Rd., at 11 a.m. Jan. 23.
ReStore is a retail store that sells new and used furniture, appliances, building materials, garden equipment and tools, and sporting goods at reduced prices. The public and businesses donate items. Donations can be dropped off or scheduled for pickup.
“Habitat for Humanity of Wood County has a mission to provide decent and affordable housing for individuals and families, through our homeownership and home repair programs,” said Mark Ohashi, Habitat executive director. “Opening a ReStore will provide a source of unrestricted revenue that will allow the organization to complete more projects and serve more families.”
Register to attend the ribbon cutting at bgchamber.net/rsvp.
