Ribbon-cutting ceremony set for the Junction Family Pharmacy

A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony will be Friday for the Junction Family Pharmacy.

Toledo’s only Black-owned pharmacy opened its doors in December, inviting the community to the enhanced and personalized medication experience offered by an independent pharmacy.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony is set to take place at 3 p.m. at 1339 Dorr St.

Taking the knowledge acquired from earning his doctor of pharmacy, or PharmD, from the University of Toledo along with his 15 years experience as a professor at his alma mater, owner Anthony Pattin aims to tackle community health disparities.

He expressed his excitement in contributing to the health and well-being of the Toledo community while offering thoughtful care that may not be found at large chain pharmacies.

The community is welcome to attend the celebration.
