Beth Ann Keil, age 65, passed away Saturday, November 23, at Northwest Ohio Ebeid Hospice Center, after a long battle with cancer. Beth was born in Toledo, Ohio, on February 11, 1959, to Joan (Hoover) and Daniel Keil.

Her nursing skills impacted the lives of many people while working at Toledo Hospital Emergency Room for 19 years, and then at Wildwood Orthopedic and Spine Hospital, from it's opening in 2011.
Beth was kind, thoughtful, and generous. She loved to laugh, and had an adventurous "Let's Go" spirit.
She was an excellent cook and loved being in the kitchen, and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She loved working in all of her backyard gardens, loved Michigan football, enjoyed birding with her sister, and loved her nesting bluebirds. One of her favorite hobbies was searching antique stores for Pie Birds, and she had a large collection. Her other hobbies included crafting, frequenting antique stores and art fairs, and, she loved to snorkel whenever near the ocean.
Beth married Hugo J. Heinze in 2003, on the beach of Kapalua Bay, on Maui. The Hawaiian Islands became one of their favorite places, and a frequent vacation destination.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional doctors, nurses, and staff, especially Dr. Walter, Oncologist, at Hickman Cancer Center, and Dr. Gable, Neurosurgeon, at Toledo Hospital. Beth fought and won many battles in her cancer fight, and their compassionate, kind, and courageous care made all the difference for Beth, and provided precious additional years for her.
Left to cherish her memories are her devoted husband, Hugo; sister, Dana Bollin; mother-in-law, Joyce Heinze; sister-in-law, Rebecca Kaiser; brother-in-law, Andrew (Holly) Heinze. Also missing her are nieces, Erika Fall, Seneca (Neil) Puchta, Haley Heinze, Liberty Heinze; and nephews, Paul (Tara) Kaiser, Michael Kaiser, Daniel Bollin.
A Celebration of Life and memorial service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home on King Rd, Friday, December 6th, with visitation starting at 1 p.m., and memorial service starting at 4 p.m.
Beth loved plants and flowers of all kinds, but they are temporary. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, where your gift will have a greater and lasting influence.
